Log line - In order to save the Kingdom of Ra, one brother and sister who are loyal protectors of the king must defeat the evil sect of the Death Mage. During the conflict however, the brother and sister learn that they are Death Mage’s themselves.
Character Outlines:
Mantis – Early 40’s. Intelligent and athletic. He is a Mage of Rue who is in self exile, mourning the loss of his 2 children Min and Atai. Husband of Atida.
Atida – Early 40’s. Intelligent and violent. She is the wife of Mantis. She is also in self exile mourning the loss of her children. Wife of Mantis.
Min – Early 20’s. Son of Mantis and Atida. He is loyal protector of the king and also General of the Army of Ra. He is intelligent, peaceful and very emotional. He searches for his identity in a world of which he is apart of but feels he knows nothing about.
Atai – Early 20’s. Daughter of Mantis and Atida. She is also a loyal protector of the king and General of the Army of Ra. She is intelligent but more violent than her brother and not as emotional. However she feels the same emptiness and aloneness as her brother.
King Lukriz – Early 50’s. King of Ra. Lukriz is an insecure king who is bent upon controlling the world. He is very manipulative, he thinks is in control of the kingdom but he is only a puppet for Queen Janiera and Aten.
Queen Janiera – Mid 40’s. Queen of Ra. Janiera is the puppet master of the king. She is a hidden force of power within the kingdom and her intentions are the destruction of the Rue.
Aten – Mid 50’s. Head Council Mage of Ra. Aten was once a champion for the people of Rue. Now he is their adversary, a man who traded his life for a bane future with the royal court of Ra.
Joten – Early 60’s. Wise Mage of the Republic of Rue. Joten tries to teach the young people of Rue the traditions and customs of old. But he is ignored by the younger generation. He is a kind old man, who is smart and loyal to his people. Some think he is going senile however.
Matriarch Empera – Mid 40’s. Empera is the leader of the new Republic of Rue. Her mission is to protect and defend her people from destruction something she has done for the past 20 years.
Spirital – The living soul of a mage.
